MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas Eve we had some families over to our house to celebrate. We had ate lots of food and then did a Christmas program. The kids dressed up and we all had a wonderful time talking about the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

After everyone left Christmas Eve the boys got to each open a present. They each got a pair of spiderman pj's and some spiderman slippers.

Christmas morning Cade woke up at about 5:50am and we went and woke up Jake. Cade was explaining to Jake that Santa came and that we needed to hurry up and go downstairs to see what he had brought them. Jake wasn't quite sure what to think with us waking him up so early, but once we got downstairs and he saw what Santa brought them he was really excited. Cade was bouncing off the walls. He understood the whole Santa thing this year and just loved it. Santa brought Cade and Jake a playhut, which they both love. They both got lots of fun toys from their grandparents and cousins, which we really appreciate. We had a great day.

All in all we had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed playing inside with all our toys and outside in the snow. We are so grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ and for his sacrifice for us. Merry Christmas!

Autumn, I hope you got my Christmas card--it was sent to El Paso. When did you guys move? I hope all is well. We still miss our days in San Antonio.

Such cool pictures! Let me tell you, you made a good choice with the playhut. We got one a few years ago from my In-Laws that they had for at least 5 years and the only reason we don't use it any more is because I left it up in the backyard when we were out of town and the auto-sprinklers / sunshine ruined it. Otherwise, if we had taken better care of it there's no telling how long it would have lasted! I hope Jake and Cade love it just like our kids did. Glad to see you enjoyed your Christmas and you're carrying on the Kuykendall Christmas Eve traditions...we loved that stuff!
